I was born and raised in Los Angeles out by the hills of Topanga Canyon. I have over 25 years of art teaching experience. I am an art educator and an artist with a love of creating public pieces for everyone to enjoy. You can see some of my projects at:
I am very interested in the environment and try to create public pieces using recycled items or items slated for a landfill whenever possible. The current mosaic I am working on is made up of about 90% tiles that were heading for a landfill and 10% tiles created by the community for this specific project. One of the great things I have discovered from not having children is my ability to plan and leave my estate to environmental causes. I like to say the trees are my kids and I am working on their inheritance! I live in a historically creative and diverse corner of Los Angeles with my husband and two canine kids.
